The Samsung Galaxy A34 and A54 were released with a high price tag but no upgrades.
The highly awaited mid-range pair from Samsung, which has been the focus of multiple leaks for weeks, has now been made public. The Samsung Galaxy A34 and A54 are available, and they cost more than before.
Design and Display
On the other side, the Galaxy A34 offers a bigger 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with the same 1080p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Vision Booster improvements.
Both phones feature an IP67 grade for water and dust protection.
Internals and Software
The Galaxy A34 has a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset, whilst the Galaxy A54 has a 5nm Exynos 1380 chipset. You can choose between two phones that have 128 GB or 256 GB of expandable storage and 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM.
Android 13 is used for the software, with One UI 5.1 added on top.
Cameras
A 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP fixed-focus ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP specialized macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture are all featured on the Samsung Galaxy A54. On the other hand, a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture is present.
The Samsung Galaxy A34, in contrast, makes do with a 48MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture. This one sports a 13MP sensor on the selfie camera.
These cameras can capture 1080p clips at 60 FPS and 4K films at 30 FPS.
Battery and Pricing
Both phones offer 25W rapid charging for the 5,000 mAh battery.
The Galaxy A34 is available in the colors Lime, Graphite, Violet, and Silver, and the 6/128 GB model costs €390. However, the 8/256GB variant, which usually costs €460, is only available for €409 right now.
The Galaxy A54, on the other hand, starts at €490 for the 6/128 GB variant and comes in Lime, Graphite, Violet, and White. Normally priced at €540, the 8/256 GB version is presently on sale for €490. This month marks the launch of these phones in the European and Asian markets.
